Police Seek Sexual Assault Suspect In Arlington

Police are searching for a suspect who sexually assaulted a woman in Shirlington Thursday night.

ARLINGTON, VA — Police are searching for a suspect who sexually assaulted a woman in Shirlington Thursday night.

Officers were called to the area of S. Randolph Street at 31st St. S. for the report of a rape at about 10:41 p.m. Nov. 2. The victim told police she was putting things in her car when a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulting her. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, traveling southbound on 31st St. S., police said.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his 20’s, approximately 5’06” to 6’0” tall with a thin build. He was wearing a white t-shirt at the time of the incident.
