Raw Chicken Stored Over Sauces, Mushrooms At Arlington Eatery: Health Code Violation
On July 7-8, Arlington County Public Health Department inspectors reported finding violations at 14 food establishments.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Public Health Department inspectors found health code violations at 14 of the food establishments they reported visiting July 7-8.
At the Superette located at 4238 Wilson Blvd., Suite 2, an inspector observed raw chicken being stored over sauces and mushrooms in the prep unit. To avoid cross-contamination, the chicken was relocated during the inspection and the person in charge needed to ensure raw items are not stored over ready-to-eat items.
