Reserve Valentine’s Day Tables Now At Top Arlington Restaurants
If you're looking for a romantic dinner for two, here are some of the options for Valentine's Day dining.
ARLINGTON, VA — Valentine’s Day is on a Friday this year, and if you haven’t made reservations for dinner out at one of Arlington’s best local restaurants, do it now.
About one-third of U.S. adults plan an evening out to celebrate Valentine’s Day and will spend an estimated $27.5 billion, according to a National Retail Federation survey.
Feb. 14 falls on a Friday this year, and that means Arlington restaurants will likely be busy through the weekend, as well as a day or two earlier than the holiday.

Crush Pizza & Wine, located at 1611 Crystal Drive, will be offering a Crusheart-shaped pizza and any bottle of wine just $45. This special runs through Feb. 15.
As part of Galentine’s Day Wine Night on Feb. 13, Water Bar Lounge at 1601 Crystal Drive will be screening of How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days at 7 p.m, featuring delicious wines, charcuterie, and oysters.

On Saturday, Water Bar Lounge will also be hosting a Valentine’s Day Cocktail-Making Class from 6–8 p.m. For $60 per person, you'll receive a welcome drink and a tutorial on two speciality cocktails, plus charcuterie and dessert pairings.
Big Buns will be offering a Galentine's Bundle from Feb 13-16. For just $13.25, you can choose a Big Short or Big Parma Burger paired with indulgent Chocolate Peanut Butter Gelato and Brownie. For couples, the V-Day Bundle ($29.25, Feb 10-16) offers two burgers, refreshing Raspberry Shakes, and fries to share. Big Buns has two locations in Arlington: 4401 Wilson Blvd. in Ballston and 4251 Campbell Ave. in Shirlington.
Matchbox at 1100 South Hayes St., suite H20 in Pentagon City, will be offering a three-course dinner for just $45 per person. Start with favorites like crispy calamari or arancini, move on to showstoppers like lump crab cake or crab and shrimp fettuccine, and finish with decadent desserts including classic brownie or warm sugar donuts.
Many, but not all, local restaurants handle reservations through OpenTable, an online service. Romantic restaurants typically fill up a week before Valentine’s Day.
