Restaurant Worker Assaulted As 2 Diners Leave Without Paying
One of two people who left a Lubber Run area restaurant Thursday without paying assaulted an employee, say Arlington County Police.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are looking for two people they say left a restaurant in the Lubber Run area on Thursday night without paying, with one of them assaulting a restaurant employee in the process.
Officers responded around 6:37 p.m. for the report of an assault that had just occurred at a restaurant in the 4800 block of 1st Street N. The officers determined that a man and woman who had just dined at the restaurant left without paying, according to ACPD.
As the couple were leaving, the woman assaulted an employee, who sustained minor injuries, according to police. The employee turned down medical attention when it was offered. The couple drove off in a white sedan.

Police described the first suspect as a thin-build Black man, who stood around 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 in height. He was about 20-25-years-old, with short dreadlocks and mustache. At the time of the incident, he was wearing all black clothing.
The second suspect was described as a thin-build Black woman, who was about 20-25 years old. She stood about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-5, with long back hair, according to police. She was wearing a light gray jacket, dark gray jeans and white shoes.
