Shooting Outside Arlington Hotel Leaves Man In Critical Condition: Police

The shooter fled before officers arrived, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — A man was shot and seriously injured during an overnight dispute in a hotel parking lot, according to police.

Officers responded around 2:50 a.m. Sunday to reports of shots fired in the area of the 1200 block of North Courthouse Road where two groups had been fighting verbally, police said. During the dispute, a male fired a gun, hitting a man and two parked vehicles, according to police, who said the man took himself to a hospital and was in critical condition. The shooter fled before officers arrived, police said.
