ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are searching for a suspect who they say entered an Arlington business through an unsecured door and fled when he encountered a store employee.

Police were called to the 2800 block of Columbia Pike at around 7:34 a.m. to a report of a burglary, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect entered a business through an unsecured door and left after being confronted by an employee," the report states. "Nothing was reported missing at the time of the report."

Police described the suspect as a black man between 44 and 55 years of age.
