Suspected Armed Robber Plunges Car Into The Potomac River: Report
A car was reported in the Potomac River along the George Washington Parkway in Arlington Sunday night.

D.C. and Arlington rescue crews responded after a car was reported in the Potomac River on Sunday night, and one media report indicated that it was an armed robber trying to elude police.
D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted at 8:16 p.m. on Sunday that they were on the scene of a car in the Potomac along George Washington Parkway in Arlington, and that they were assisting Arlington County firefighters and police.
D.C. Police Department Harbor Division divers were in the water.
