Teenage Girl Threatens Employee As Other Teens Rob Pentagon City Business

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are looking for a group of teens they say stole merchandise from a Pentagon City business and threatened an employee on Monday night, according to authorities.

Officers responded around 8:37 p.m. for a report of a robbery by force at a business in the 1100 block of South Hayes Street, according to the incident report.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a group of male and female teens entered the business and started taking merchandise. One of the female suspects threatened an employee, implying that she had a weapon, according to police. The suspects left the business with the items that they had stolen.

The officers searched the area but were unable to located the suspects, police say. No injuries were reported.

Police decribed the female suspect who implied that she had a weapon as being approximately 15 years old and was wearing a red hoodie, black pants and a black face covering. The other suspects were also described as being about 15 and were wearing black face coverings.
