Thanksgiving Pies Available For Pre-Order At Arlington Bakeries

ARLINGTON, VA — Home cooks planning to prepare a Thanksgiving feast can easily check off the holiday meal’s dessert course by ordering pies from one of two Arlington bakeries.

First, the Crumbl at 421 South Hayes St., Suite 110, in Pentagon City is accepting pre-orders of Thanksgiving favorites like Pumpkin Cream Pie and French Silk Pie, as well as playful twists like Cookies & Cream Pie and Brookie Pie.

All of Crumbl's pies are available in two sizes. The large 5-inch pie is perfect for sharing with family and friends, and the mini 2-inch pie is a personal-sized treat. Each pie is baked or chilled to perfection, with real ingredients and Crumbl’s signature touch.

“There’s something special about pie that brings people together,” says Jason McGowan, Co-Founder and CEO of Crumbl. “It’s nostalgic, it’s comforting, and it always disappears first. We’re excited to share a taste of that tradition, the Crumbl way.”

As an alternative, Chef David Guas and his crew at Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery in Arlington, are baking up southern comfort with show-stopping pies from classics like the Apple Cinnamon Crunch, and the crowd-favorite Bacon Cayenne Pecan.

The bakery's Morning Loaves, including Banana-Choco Chip and Pumpkin Chai, complement satisfying sides like their creamy creole Spinach Madeline and Roasted Sweet Potato Mash with Caramelized Onions and Steen's Cane Syrup.
