Unique Flavors, Discounted Menus Highlight Arlington Restaurant Week

Arlington Restaurant Week is underway, offing local foodies a chance to try a variety of menus at discounted prices.

ARLINGTON, VA — Local foodies still have time to sample the menus of more than 70 local eateries and receive discounts as part of 2025 Arlington Restaurant Week.

Hosted by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, the annual event kicked off on Monday and will continue through Monday, Oct. 20.

Sixteen Arlington businesses shared their plans for restaurant week with Patch and 11 have already been highlighted. To view those stories, scroll down. The final five businesses are highlighted below.

Serving American cuisine with upscale flavor, The Landing Kitchen + Bar is located at 2399 Richmond Highway inside the Hilton Arlington National Landing.

"Sip a drink, snack on some apps, and relax at the Bar with deliciously crafted cocktails," according to senior marketing manager Stephanie Trottier. "A full breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner menus are offered. Daily happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m."

"We love being part of the vibrant and evolving National Landing neighborhood," said Executive Chef Lucian Weavil. "The Landing Kitchen + Bar menu reflects the local and seasonal flavors that elevate every visitor's and guest's experience. Whether they’re starting their evening with happy hour or winding down with our dinner menu, we offer something for every taste."

Mejana serves authentic Mediterranean food, specializing in hot and cold appetizers, as well as mixed grill. During restaurant week, Mejana will be offering special $25 lunch and $49 dinner menus.

Located at 2300 Wilson Blvd., Mejana has been a fixture in the Court House community for 18 years.

"We bring personality to our food, customer service, and establishment," owner Lorena Cantarovici said about Mpanadas. "We serve The American Empanada: empanadas filled with cuisines from around the world."

For restaurant week, Mpandadas, which is located at 2602 Columbia Pike, Suite B, is offering a $39 meal for two. Both guests will receive four empanadas, three sauces, two drinks and two ice creams for one price.

What Piera Norris-Sligh, director of operations of Verre Wine Bar likes about operating a business in Arlington is the amazing people he gets to meet every day.

The restaurant's speciality is its 12-hour smoked brisket, as well as its unique wine selections, according to Norris-Sligh.

For restaurant week, Verre Wine Bar, which is located at 2415 Wilson Blvd., is offering a prix fixe menu for $39. Customers can also receive discounts by joining the restaurant's wine club.

A relative newcomer to the Arlington food scene, Yunnan By Potomac opened its Pentagon City restaurant about nine month ago at 721 15th St. South. It specializes in serving dishes uniquely inspired by the southwest China province of Yunnan with a modern twist, according to partner/co-owner Zach Heng.

"Rice noodle bowls, hand-made dumplings, and hearty bao buns alongside flavor-packed shareable small plates and one of the most unique beverage programs in the DMV," he said.

Yunnan is celebrating restaurant week with a feast that requires the participation of everyone at the table. Each guest pays $49 and has a 90-minute limit to select one item per section per round of ordering. Takeaway containers will not be provided and preventable food waste will be charged at a la carte prices.

The feast is available all day on Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday through Friday, from 5 to 9 p.m.

"A sense of community and the vibrant diversity of culinary offerings" is what Heng likes about operating a business in Arlington.
