A number of events are scheduled in Arlington, namely at the Arlington National Cemetery, to support those who have fought.

ARLINGTON, VA — A number of free events are scheduled throughout Arlington the weekend of Nov. 11 to show support for those who have fought for the United States. Bring your family and stop by a few of these events.
National Veterans Day Ceremony
Where: Arlington National Cemetery
When: Saturday, Nov. 11 — 11 a.m.

What: The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held every year on November 11th at Arlington National Cemetery. The ceremony starts at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by veterans' organizations and remarks from dignitaries, according to the event description.
Air Force Memorial
Where: One Air Force Memorial Drive

What: This event features a wreath laying ceremony and a two-minute moment of silence to remember veterans killed during war.
Women In Military Service For America Memorial
Where: Gateway to Arlington National Cemetery
When: Saturday, Nov. 11 - 3 p.m.
What: This free ceremony honors women in the military with formal military honors, veterans' remarks, a keynote address and a wreath laying.
Arlington Veterans Day Observation
Where: Clarendon Central Park
When: Saturday, Nov. 11 - 11 a.m.
What: Arlington's annual Veterans Day commemoration is held at the American Legion War Memorial in Clarendon's Central Park, above the Metrorail Station. Event includes presentation of colors and remarks. VFW Post 3150 will conduct the ceremony.
