Water Pours Into Metro Elevator At Pentagon (Video)
Torrential rains in the D.C. area made the Pentagon Metro elevator totally unusable Monday morning.
ARLINGTON, VA — Metro commuters were greeted to quite the sight when they tried to use the elevator at the Pentagon station: water cascading down onto a yellow "wet floor" sign.
Torrential rain drenched the D.C. area on Monday morning, prompting flash flood warnings in Arlington County.
Meanwhile, a huge geyser of water could be seen at the Virginia Square Metro station (video below).
