What are they Building at 3444 N. Fairfax Drive?

Virginia Square Plaza, at 3444 N. Fairfax Drive and 919 N. Lincoln St., will be a two-building apartment complex by the with underground parking, according to Arlington County permits.

According to developer the Dittmar Company, there will be 225 apartment units in the mid-rise apartment complex.

The construction site for the two towers is just two blocks northeast of the Virginia Square-GMU Metro station on the south side of Fairfax Drive.

The buildings will include a fitness center, television and game room, keycard access and garage parking. Each apartment will have its own washer and dryer, plenty of storage room and "entertainment-style" kitchens, according to the apartment complex's website.

Preliminary pricing indicates efficiency apartments will start at $1,685 per month. One-bedroom apartments will start at $1,905; two-bedroom apartments will start at $2,805 per month; and three-bedroom apartments will start at $3,695 per month.
