Winter Artful Weekend Show In Arlington Perfect For Holiday Shopping

ARLINGTON, VA – The 20th annual Winter Artful Weekend Art Show at Fort C.F. Smith Park in Arlington will showcase works by 40 artists from the Arlington Artists Alliance.

The show, which will run from Friday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 4, will feature a variety of artwork, from paintings to ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, glasswork and artist’s cards.

The event, free and open to the public, is the perfect place to do holiday shopping.

The show will take place inside the Hendry House at Fort C.F. Smith Park in the Woodmont neighborhood, near Lorcom Lane.

The Arlington Artists Alliance is a member nonprofit group that promotes local art. Its artists exhibit year-round at a variety of Arlington community venues, including local government offices, community organizations, local businesses, restaurants and cafés.

Here are the Winter Artful Weekend Art show hours:

• Friday, Dec. 2 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Opening reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
