Woman Fights Off Robber In Arlington: Police
A man fled after a woman he was trying to rob in Arlington fought back, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a woman in south Arlington, but fled when she fought back.
Police were called to the 2400 block of S. Glebe Road at around 12:41 a.m. on July 18 to a report of an assault, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"[T]he victim was approached by an unknown male suspect who assaulted her and attempted to steal her phone unsuccessfully," the report states. "The victim fought back, prompting the suspect to flee prior to police arrival."

Police described the man as tall, heavy-weight, with light skin, tattoos on his arm, and a mustache. He was wearing shorts and a white shirt.
