Woman Punches Arlington Cop: Police
Police say a woman punched an Arlington police officer with a closed fist.

ARLINGTON, VA -- A woman faces charges after police say she punched a police officer in Arlington on Wednesday.
Police were called to the 4100 block of Campbell Avenue in Shirlington at around noon to a report of a disorderly woman refusing to leave a business, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"While being detained pending the completion of a banning notice, the suspect struck one of the responding officers with a closed fist," the report states.

Police charged 38-year-old Senait Taye of Arlington with assault and batter on law enforcement and failure to ID. She is being held without bond.
