ARLINGTON, VA -- A woman was startled by a man who was leaning against her window in Arlington on Thursday, police say.

Police were called to the 2300 block of 10th Street N at around 8:50 a.m. to a report of a peeping, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"[T]he victim was inside her residence when she observed an unknown male suspect leaning against the window," the report states. "The victim yelled at the suspect and hit the window, resulting in him fleeing prior to police arrival."

Police described the suspect as a white man with dark eyes.
