A cyclist was hit at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Shellhorn Road, on September 24th between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.Police, who were on lookout for the suspected driver that fled, encountered the suspect several days later and charged him with a hit and run and filing a false report to law enforcement. The cyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment for serious but non-life- threatening injuries, stated the release.
