An assistant principal at Ashburn's Briar Woods High School was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Page County. Another driver also died.

PAGE COUNTY, VA—An assistant principal at Ashburn's Briar Woods High School was killed late Monday afternoon, June 24, in a three-vehicle crash on Route 211. Jonathon D. Kite, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, in which another driver also died, according to Virginia State Police.
Investigators found that shortly before 5 p.m., a 2020 Kia Telluride driven by Kite was headed west on Route 211 when it ran off the road to the left, went across the median and collided with an eastbound 2005 Chevy Impala—the impact of which caused the Kia to hit an eastbound 1999 GMC Envoy.
The driver of the Chevy, an unidentified man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the GMC, a 27-year-old Luray woman, wasn't injured.
