'To Know Him Is To Love Him,' Star Ashburn Student Has A Huge Heart
We all know students who strive to make a difference. Third grader Ryan is setting an example for everyone in Ashburn.

ASHBURN, VA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Danielle Mueller who nominated Ryan, a third grader from Ashburn. Danielle is Ryan's mother, and she's been proud to here the many compliments Ryan gets every day.

How do you know the star local student?
He is my son!
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Ryan is a very intelligent and determined young man with a HUGE heart and a creative imagination. He speaks to everyone he comes across and brings them nothing but joy! His principal says he is the "President of his school" because he literally knows and talks to EVERYONE no matter their grade level or job. Ryan's interest are his friends, family, and how he can help the community! He is always eager to learn as well as do the right thing at all times. He loves to help others, pick up trash outside, be a role model, and to continue being successful! To know Ryan is to love him. I get NOTHING but amazing comments about my son from his teachers, strangers we encounter, as well as friends and family! He is definitely a star student in my eyes, as well as many others!
