Route 7 Reopens In Loudoun County After Crash: VDOT

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A crash closed Route 7 in both directions Thursday morning, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The road has reopened, VDOT reported at 10 a.m.

The area of the crash was Potomac View Road in Sterling. There was no immediate word on injuries or what caused the crash.

As of 8:56 a.m., VDOT's 511 reported that only eastbound lanes were closed between Bartholomew Fair Drive and Potomac View Road. Traffic is being diverted to Bartholomew Fair Drive. Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route.
