Scout Dens, Troops Invited To West Springfield District Police Station

SPRINGFIELD, VA — The West Springfield District Station is hosting Scout Night on Tuesday, March 14, when police officers will give presentations and video tours of the station.

The Scout Night, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., is open for scout dens and troops in the area. Scouts will also get a chance to take a hands-on tour of a police car at the station.

Space is limited to one den or troop every half hour. Slots are 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.

If older scouts need specific requirements for a badge, arrangements can be made with the Fairfax County Police Department.

Families and scout leaders should contact either PFC Liam May at 703- 277-2357 or MPO Tony Capizzi at 703-277-2363 for scheduling a tour or if they have questions. The West Springfield District Station is located at 6140 Rolling Road in Springfield.
