Virginia Department of Transportation work crews plan to shift traffic lanes Wednesday night on Route 28 South to a new bridge over I-66, according to a VDOT. The new bridge is located to the west of the current southbound I-66 crossing.

During that same time period, two southbound lanes on Route 28 will be closed from the Old E.C. Lawrence Park entrance and Route 29.
