US House District 5 GOP Primary Election Results: Good Vs. McGuire

Incumbent GOP Congressman Bob Good is trying to hold on to his seat as votes continue to be counted in Tuesday's Republican primary for Virginia's 5th Congressional District.

Voters across several counties are casting their ballots to decide between the incumbent, Bob Good, and challenger, John McGuire III. Good faced criticism from party leader former President Donald Trump after he supported Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the early presidential contests.

In total, about 59,070 votes have been reported as of 10 p.m., with Bob Good receiving 29,303 votes and John McGuire III receiving 29,767 votes.
