40 Alexandrians Participating In 2023 Boston Marathon

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria will be represented by 40 athletes in the 2023 Boston Marathon.

The Boston Marathon, which draws around 30,000 athletes from over 100 countries, will take place on Patriots Day, Monday, April 17. The event is in its 127th year.

Eleven of the runners in Monday's marathon participated in the 2022 Boston Marathon in April. The official times from that marathon are included next to their name.
