5 Restaurants With Alexandria Ties Nominated For 2024 RAMMYs
The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington announced finalists for the RAMMYs, the region's restaurant and food service awards.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria restaurants are among the finalists for the 2024 RAMMYs, the regional restaurant and food service awards held by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW).
The annual awards honor the accomplishments of the DC region's restaurant and food service community.
Hi/Fi Tex-Mex BBQ, which opened in the back of Evening Star Cafe in the Del Ray neighborhood, is up for the Favorite Fast Bites award.

Andy's Pizza, which has an Old Town Alexandria location and will be part of the upcoming Atlas Brew Works in the Carlyle neighborhood, is another finalist in the Favorite Fast Bites category.

Andrew Dana and Daniela Moreira, owners of the Call Your Mother deli chain, are finalists in the Restaurateur of the Year category. Under the Call Your Mother umbrella, they just opened a location on King Street in Old Town Alexandria.
Taco Bamba, which has a location just outside Alexandria city limits, was named a RAMMYS finalist in the Casual Restaurant of the Year category.
Glory Days Grill, which has a restaurant in the Alexandria Commons shopping center, was nominated in the Favorite Gathering Place category.
Nearly half of the award categories will be open to a public vote. Voting ends at 5 p.m., on May 31, 2024.
Winners will be announced winners on Sunday, July 21, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. See the full list of 2024 RAMMY award finalists here.
