DASH Bus Lines To Serve New Potomac Yard Metro Station In Alexandria
As the Potomac Yard Metro opening nears, DASH has announced bus service information to connect local residents.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — When the Potomac Yard Metro station opens on May 19, local residents will have connections through Alexandria's bus network.
DASH Bus announced its Lines 33, 34 and 36 A/B will be modified to connect to the new station. The Potomac Yard Metro is scheduled to open Friday, May 19.
"We are excited to see this station open," said DASH CEO and general manager Josh Baker. "Our community and riders will benefit immensely from this investment in our local and regional transit, particularly through the improved connections for bus riders in Arlandria, Parkfairfax, Del Ray and Old Town North."

DASH's Lines 33 & 36A/B will be tweaked to connect to the Metro station via East Glebe Road and continue to the Potomac Yard Shopping Center. The change will take effect on May 19.
Line 34 will be tweaked to connect Old Town and Old Town North to the Potomac Yard Metro rather than the Braddock Road Metro. The connection will be via Richmond Highway and East Glebe Road. In Old Town, the route will shift from its current North Fairfax Street location to North Pitt Street between Pendleton Street and Second Street. These changes will happen on May 21.
