VIRGINIA — Before many kids go back to school in Northern Virginia, there are plenty of ways to get out and have fun this weekend in the DC region.

For classic carnival fun, check out the Arlington County Fair in Prince William County Fair in Manassas and One Loudoun Summer Carnival in Ashburn.

Alexandria will be a destination for foodies this weekend with Alexandria Restaurant Week and the Del Ray Bands and Brews Summer Bar Crawl. Other foodie events are the Virginia Bourbon and Beer Festival in Fredericksburg and Tacos, Margarita, Tequila & Latin American Beer Festival in Tysons.
