VIRGINIA — Kids are going back to school, but the weekends are time for summer fun in Northern Virginia and DC.
Foodies will enjoy events like the last days of Alexandria Restaurant Week, Around The World Cultural Food Festival in Alexandria, St. George Church Annual Middle Eastern Festival in DC and BBQ & Barrels in DC. After the weekend, look for the start of Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week.
