Summer Meals For Alexandria Students Planned At 8 Locations

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The School Nutrition Service staff at Alexandria City Public Schools will continue to feed students during summer break with free breakfast and lunch.

The meal service is part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided for free to all children ages 2 to 18 in Alexandria from June 27 to July 21, Monday through Thursday. Meals will be first come, first served and must be eaten on site.

Here are the locations and times for meals, Monday through Thursday:

Alexandria City High School King Street Campus: 3330 King Street Alexandria, VA 22302

• Breakfast from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Alexandria City High School Minnie Howard Campus: 3801 W Braddock Rd Alexandria, VA 22302

• Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Cora Kelly Elementary: 3600 Commonwealth Ave, Alexandria, VA 22305

• Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., lunch from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Douglas MacArthur Elementary: 4633 Taney Ave Alexandria, VA 22304

• Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., lunch from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

George Mason Elementary: 2601 Cameron Mills Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302

• Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., lunch from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

William Ramsay Elementary: 5700 Sanger Ave Alexandria, VA 22311
