Taste Of Del Ray Returns To Showcase Local Restaurants For 15th Year

ALEXANDRIA, VA — June will kick off with foodies flocking outdoors for the return of the popular Taste of Del Ray.

This will be the 15th rendition of Taste of Del Ray, an event by the Del Ray Business Association to showcase the neighborhood's restaurants. The event will take place Sunday, June 2 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center field, 2701 Commonwealth Ave, Alexandria, VA.

With admission to Taste of Del Ray, attendees get access to all tastes from participating restaurants. Judges will determine winners of the Judges' Choice Awards, while attendees will vote for the People's Choice Award.

The event is known to sell out, so get your tickets now. General admission tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children under 12 plus fees, and VIP tickets are $75 plus fees. There will be 500 general admission and 100 VIP tickets sold.

VIP ticket holders get early admission at 12 p.m. and a VIP wine tasting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Del Ray Artisans gallery. The VIP reception is for ages 21 and older and requires an ID.
