'Wintry Mix' Forecast This Weekend for Northern Virginia

Got outdoor plans this weekend? You may have to tweak your schedule. A dreaded "wintry mix" could be headed to the Northern Virginia area this coming weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday is looking a little brutal with a chance of rain and/or "snow showers" and high temperatures in the 40s predicted by the NWS. The Capital Weather Gang also says to expect gusty winds Saturday. And Saturday night's low? Look for temperatures to dip into the 20s, according to the National Weather Service.

- Saturday: Partly sunny with a chance of rain or snow showers. Highs in the upper 40s. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.
- Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Cold with lows in the upper 20s.
- Sunday: Sunny. Highs around 50.
