2025 National Dog Day Gallery: Patch's Parade Of Pooches

Patch invited readers to share photos of their four-legged friends to help celebration National Dog Day on Tuesday.

Tuesday happens to be National Dog Day, when dog lovers show how much their four-legged friends mean to their lives.

Patch recently invited readers to submit photos of their pooch or pup for the 2025 National Dog Day Gallery. Here are the photos that they submitted:

Celebrate National Dog Day By Helping Others

For the sixth year in a row, Dunkin' is kicking off its annual celebration of National Dog Day by partnering with BARK, a leading global omnichannel dog brand with a mission to make all dogs happy.

With a $16 donation to Dunkin's Joy in Childhood Foundation, customers will receive a limited-edition toy as a thank-you – giving pups a playful way to join in their humans’ favorite coffee rituals while supporting kids battling illness or hunger. Donations can be made online or at participating Dunkin' locations.

  • Dunkin’ Cold Brew Toy: This plush toy includes an oversized squeaker, ultra-fluffy stuffing, irresistible crinkle fabric, and a playful whip-n-flip straw.
  • Dunkin’ Chocolate Frosted Donut: This sweet treat is a 2-in-1 toy packed with fluff, featuring two squeakers and layers of crazy crinkle for irresistible play.

"These toys offer more than just fun for our furry friends, they’re a way for our guests to make a real difference during their next Dunkin’ run,” said Mollie Collum, director of the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. “The success of this partnership helps us continue supporting new facility dogs, so every guest donation helps bring comfort and smiles to kids who need it most. With each toy, we’re spreading joy twice over.”

Also coinciding with National Dog Day, Lazy Dog Restaurant will donate $1 to Pet Partners for every Dog Bowl ordered in-restaurant between Aug. 26-31.

"Guests who dine in and purchase a Dog Bowl for their pup that week in August will also receive a card for a free Dog Bowl on a future visit with the purchase of an entrée," according to a release.

This promotion will take place at all Lazy Dog locations across the U.S., including the restaurant's two locations in Northern Virginia:
