Why are you seeking elective office?
To help people in the district, to do something good, to get my message out
The single most pressing issue facing the 11th District is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
It's different for everyone. For some it's taxes(property/car/real estate)/cost of living, for others education (like crt), for others human/drug trafficking, for others first and second amendment rights, some people are against state climate change mandates/initiatives but like electric cars and want more charging stations around. Some feel other elected officials giving themselves raises when it should go towards funding for other programs is also an issue.
If elected I would write laws or vote in favor to curb these problems. In terms of what I'd do specifically, vote in favor of tax relief and cuts.
For those involved in human trafficking, I would say harsher sentences but the issue with that is that it would up costs. Find ways to improve the rehabilitation process so they won't go out and commit the same crime. There are laws that exist currently that deal with these issues. But they can be adjusted. The budget to go towards the departments that investigate and break up trafficking rings can be increased.
I'm not sure exactly what to say about the regional green house gas initiative, I'd have to wait till the end of the year to see what happens with youngkin and his teams actions on it.
I'd find a way to divert funding from organizations who like spending money on changing names and putting up idols/statues. Wasteful.
There's so much to do.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I can do whatever I set my mind to.
