FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 48-year-old Arlington man is facing a driving under the influence charge after City of Fairfax Police observed him driving at a high rate of speed in the Fairfax Circle area early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

An officer near the Fairfax Boulevard and Blenheim Boulevard intersection conducted a traffic stop around 12:22 a.m., on a vehicle he saw was speeding, according to the incident report.

The officer reported that the driver, identified as Victor Andradez Flores of Arlington, appeared to be intoxicated. Flores was arrested and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Once there, Flores was charged with DUI and refusal, according to police. He was released one he was deemed sober.
