Closures on Braddock Road Start Tonight

Several lanes will be closed this weekend at Braddock Road on the I-495 interchange. 

The closures will begin Saturday, Jan. 28 at 9 p.m. and last until 9 a.m. Sunday morning, Jan. 29.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is closing three right lanes on eastbound Braddock Road and two left lanes on westbound Braddock Road to install overhead signs.

Drivers should see 10 to 15 minute delays. In case of inclement weather, the work would be rescheduled for Sunday, Jan. 29 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., VDOT officials said.
