I-66 Lanes Reopen After Crash; 2.5-Mile Delays Remain
A multi-vehicle crash blocked two lanes of eastbound I-66 just past the Chain Bridge Road exit in Fairfax County Thursday afternoon.

FAIRFAX, VA — All eastbound lanes of I-66 in Fairfax County just past the exit for Chain Bridge Road reopened following an earlier multi-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon. Delays remained but traffic was moving.
Two eastbound lanes were blocked on Thursday, according to a 4:05 p.m. alert from Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination Program.
The two left lanes were blocked and traffic was able to get by on one right lane, according to the alert. The right Express Lane was also blocked, according to MATOC.
