Downed Tree Removed From Fairfax City Street Reopened For Traffic

City of Fairfax work crews removed a downed tree that was blocking a city street on Monday morning, causing the roadway to close for a time.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax work crews were on the scene around 7 a.m. on Monday to remove a downed tree in the 10600 block of Howerton Avenue near Perry Street.

Howerton Avenue was closed for several hours. Once crews remove the tree, the road reopened to traffic.
