Can you handle pressure? Fairfax County is looking for emergency medical, police, and fire dispatchers to join its crew.
Fairfax County Public Safety Communicators answer all 911 and non-emergency calls. The information is entered into the Computer Aided Dispatch System, monitoring and controlling public safety resources.
Shifts are typically 12 and-a-half hours long. Base pay is $18.29 per hour depending on experience. Applicants must have no felony convictions or commission of serious misdemeanors, among other qualifications.
