FAIRFAX, VA—Here's what's open and what's closed in the City of Fairfax for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 21. Included, per the city, is the schedule for refuse collection:

Monday, Jan. 21

• City government offices — closed
• General District Court — closed*
• Recycling Center — closed
• CUE Bus — modified weekday service
• Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center — open
• Refuse and recycling are not collected — Monday and Tuesday refuse and recycling route is collected on Tuesday, 1/22

Tuesday, Jan. 22

• Monday and Tuesday refuse and recycling routes are collected

* Please note: on Friday, January 18, the General District Court will be closed for Lee-Jackson Day, a state holiday.
