Lanes Reopen; Tractor-Trailer On Route 50/I-66 Ramp Removed: Updated
An overturned tractor-trailer that had blocked a ramp from Route 50 to I-66 in Fairfax County for several hours has been removed, VDOT says.

FAIRFAX, VA — All lanes of traffic on the ramp from Route 50 West to I-66 West in Fairfax County have reopened, according to a 1:38 p.m. post on the Virginia Department of Transportation's official Twitter account.
The westbound ramp from Route 50 to westbound I-66 was closed for several hours on Tuesday due to an overturned tractor-trailer, according to a 10:59 a.m. VDOT Twitter post.

The tractor-trailer was hauling a load of bricks when it overturned late Tuesday morning. No information was available yet if there were any injuries or what caused the truck to overturn.
