Police: Volve V70 Stolen, Moped Damaged

Fairfax City Police are searching for a stolen Volvo V70 and those who damaged a moped chained to a bus stop on Fairfax Boulevard. This and other crime news detailed below:

• Stolen Vehicle, : A 2004 Volvo V70 was stolen from the rear lot of the dealership sometime between 7 p.m. on Jan. 30 and 9:50 a.m. on Feb. 1.
• Vandalism, Bus Stop at the 9400 Block of Fairfax Boulevard: Someone(s) damaged a moped chained to a bus stop on Fairfax Boulevard sometime between 10 a.m. on Jan. 31 and 8 p.m. on Feb. 1. 
• Larceny, Icons: Someone(s) took a purse left unattended at Icons sometime around 2:20 a.m. on Feb. 3. The purse was later found elsewhere in the sports bar but was missing cash and a credit card.
• Burglary, 10600 Block of West Drive: Someone(s) entered an unoccupied residence and stole copper pipes and wire. The missing items were found at 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 1 by a Fairfax City building inspector.
