Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Emma is a military kid who has moved 9 times by the age of 14. She has excelled at playing volleyball for the last several years. Moving and playing travel volleyball is not easy as you have to start over every move with a different club. Her hard work has landed her with the #16 volleyball club in the country. She works hard everyday to get better. She dreams to play at the highest level after high school. She made her high school Varsity team as a freshman this year and had almost 200 kills playing in 6A volleyball. She is a good leader on the court and has the drive and determination that many military children have.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

She is a military kid who has had to sacrifice and start over more times than your typical kid. She works hard to earn a new spot in a new city or at a new club. She is resilient and a strong leader because of it.

Keep up the great work, Emma!
