Now that the academic year's done, it's time for Fairfax High students to take a well-deserved break but also consider summer assignments.
FAIRFAX, VA—Now that the academic year is complete, it's time for Fairfax High students to take a well-deserved break for the classroom, right? Well, more or less. That's because there's also the matter of summer assignments for those who'll be attending the school at 3501 Rebel Run this coming fall.
Take math, for example. According to school's website, "Mathematics builds on several skills that you have learned in previous courses. This packet covers the most important skills that are needed for your next math course. It is highly recommended that you use some time over the summer to complete the following problems. There may be a short quiz that covers the information from this packet after the first week of school."
