TONIGHT: Council to Vote on Downtown Park

Council members will vote whether to expand Kitty Pozer in the heart of downtown Fairfax or keep the temporary parking lot at University Drive and North Street.

Businesses want to keep (and possibly beautify) the existing parking lot next to Old Town Hall, while some residents and council members would prefer to see green space in that block.

The council meeting starts at 7 p.m. in City Hall. Council members will first hold a public meeting (seventh down on the agenda) then vote.
