All Main Street Lanes Open In Fairfax City; Water Main Break Repairs Completed

All lanes of Main Street in Fairfax City reopened to traffic after a water main break forced the road to be temporarily closed Wednesday.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — All lanes of Main Street in the City of Fairfax reopened to traffic around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, following a temporary closure caused by a water main break.

Around 3 p.m., the City of Fairfax reported that westbound Main Street from Roberts Road to Blenheim Boulevard due to a water main break that had damaged the roadway. Work crews repaired the damage and the road was reopened.
