2 Women Wanted in Customer Theft at Burlington Coat Factory: Police

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Two women distracted a customer at a Burlington Coat Factory store in the Seven Corners area and made off with her wallet and phone, according to police.

Fairfax County Police detectives from the Mason District station are investigating the larceny which they say occurred on Thursday, March 24, at around 8:39 p.m., police said Thursday in a news release.

A patron of the Burlington Coat Factory store, located at 6350 Seven Corners Center, placed her purse in her shopping cart and was distracted momentarily, police said. Two other women were also in the store, and had apparently been following the patron, according to police. One of the women distracted her while the other allegedly took the victim’s wallet and cell phone from her purse, police said. The two suspects then quickly left the store.

Police say the suspects were described as white and approximately 18 to 27 years old. The suspect pictured on the left was described as 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, long brown hair, approximately 155 to 175 pounds. She was wearing a light colored shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect pictured on the right was described as 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 125 to 145 pounds with brown hair. She was wearing a gray shirt with dark pants.
