On the Roads
As of 7:42 a.m., a disabled vehicle on the reversible I-95 Express Lanes closed the northbound right shoulder near Opitz Boulevard in Prince William County.

As of 7:36 a.m., an incident on eastbound I-66 east of Route 7 has closed the right shoulder in Fairfax County.
As of 7:32 a.m., a disabled vehicle closed the left shoulder on eastbound I-66 near Lee-Jackson Memorial Highway/Route 50 in Fairfax County.
As of 7:31 a.m., lanes are open after a crash on northbound Route 28 near Westfields Boulevard in Fairfax County, but delays may continue, according to WTOP Traffic.
As of 7:29 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on southbound I-95 near Telegraph Road in Stafford County and closed the right shoulder.
As of 7:14 a.m., a disabled vehicle closed the right shoulder on southbound I-495 near Van Dorn Street in Fairfax County/Alexandria.
As of 7:12 a.m., flashing intersection lights were impacting George Washington Memorial Parkway near Bashbord Lane in Alexandria, according to WTOP Traffic.
On the Rails
On Metro's Red Line, expect delays to Glenmont due to a disabled train at Farragut North.
On Virginia Railway Express, the 302 train on the Fredericksburg Line was delayed 20 minutes as of 6:02 a.m. due to following a CSX train.
On the Metro, Blue Line service is not operating south of Reagan National Airport through Oct. 22 due to Metro's Blue and Yellow Line construction. Shuttle buses and other alternatives are available. There is no Yellow Line service, with Blue and Green Line service replacing Yellow Line service.
Weather
Expect increasing clouds with a high near 70. At night, partly cloudy, with a low around 52.
