The new tank, relocated within the Seven Corners Apartments complex near Upton Hill Regional Park, aims to fix low pressure, fire flow, and storage deficiencies in the former Falls Church system.

The ranking comes from AARP’s data-driven Livability Index, which scores housing, transportation, health, and more. Local leaders are encouraged to use the tool to improve affordability and aging-in-place options.
• FCDOT proposes streets for testing reduced 20-mph speed limit (ffxnow.com) — Falls Church already has 20-mph speed zones, and Fairfax County is now planning a similar pilot on selected neighborhood streets starting in 2026, potentially affecting many local commuters. Transportation officials will test lower limits, gather public feedback, and expand to more districts later, following a state law that lets localities drop speeds in residential and business areas.
