Falls Church Arts To Open Street Life: Real Life Reimagined Exhibit
A new all-media art exhibition is opening with a public reception at the Falls Church Arts gallery.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Whether you're looking to buy art for your home or simply enjoy browsing art galleries, Falls Church Arts is preparing to open its latest exhibit.
Street Life: Real Life Reimagined, an all-media show with work from 37 artists, will open July 1 through Aug. 13. The public is invited to attend a free reception with the artists from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 1 at 700-B West Broad St.
The juror who selected artwork for the exhibit is Adam Odomore, an artist-archivist focused on African and African American art, photography, and culture. According to Falls Church Arts, Odomore described the exhibit as a "marriage of styles and mediums that range from abstraction to still life, sculpture, figurative, and landscape art."

"It is all at once bustling with energy like a crescendo yet contemplative and mellow like base movements in a symphony," said Odomore via Falls Church Arts. "In short, it is a show that speaks to the humanness of creation and the possibilities that can be when artists are free to contemplate and interpret a theme broadly. Ultimately, Street Life is real life."

The show includes 42 art pieces available for purchase at the gallery or online. Artists will be on hand at the reception to answer questions and discuss their work.
